You are probably right (that it must be ignored). Still, as a leader of the World Jewish Conspiracy (who controls the media, tooespecially the Internets), I feel we cannot ignore any outpost, however provincial.

No Verdi? You will *kill* me. But give me more Weber, to be sure. (How about Glinka, too, what do you say?)

Thanks for visiting and writing! v.f.

Meyerbeer Fan Club has no such plans for Bayreuth. Bayreuth must be ignored. Elsewhere, we plan a repertory revision at the world's major opera houses. For five years, operas houses will be forbidden to produce any opera by Handel, Mozart, Verdi, Wagner and Puccini -- and must produce in each season, one opera by Rossini that is not Barber, one by Donizetti that is neither Lucia nor Don Pasquale and fill the remainder of the season with operas by Weber, Auber, Meyerbeer, Spontini, Thomas etc.

Thanks so much for the greeting! As to whether I'm eminently sane or not, remember, I'm new at this. Only time will tell!

Thanks,

...our plans for world domination include programming nothing but Meyerbeer, Offenbach, and La Juive at Bayreuth…

A regular terrorist, aren't you.

Well, we Wagnerians know how to deal with you Frenchies.
